the limitless scholarship

The purpose of the fund is to provide need-based scholarships for women and girls in Monterey

County who are interested in pursuing careers in male dominated industries to attend a two-year, four- year or vocational/trade school or certification program.

Who's eligible?

 

The scholarship recipients will be chosen based off of the applicant's:

  • Documented financial need

  • Demonstrated interest in a career in the field of STEAM, technical and vocational trades, automotive industry, aviation, architecture, construction, or agriculture.

  • Intent to pursue a degree in the field of a male dominated industry.

The applicant must be registered as a student at a Monterey County high school or be a returning student at a college, university, or trades or vocational program.

To claim the award funds, the winning students must:

Enroll in an accredited school of higher education: such as a two-year, four-year, or vocational/trade school or certification program.​

​

All students in need of financial aid are encouraged to apply. That includes students applying through FAFSA and the California DREAM Act.

How to apply?

​

The scholarship fund is managed by the Community Foundation for Monterey County: a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Applications are OPEN until March 15, 2024. Click here to apply.
